  H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler, has toured Dubai Metro Project. The project begins from Al Ittihad square in Deira, with tunnel below Dubai Creek till Burjuman in Bur Dubai with approximate length of 1,5 Km.   The total length of the project is 75 Km divided in Red Line 52 Km and Green Line 23 Km, and includes 47 Stations with total cost of AED 15 billion. Engineer Mattar Al Tayer, briefed Sheikh Maktoum on progress of the Dubai Metro project stating that with more than 1500 administrative employees and 15000 Technician and Labour all excavation works in the Red Line has been completed, also all construction works at City Centre, Al Rigga, Al Ittihad and Burjuman Stations. The tour included Al Ittihad main Station and Burjuman.   Sheikh Maktoum reviewed all contents of Al Rigga and City Centre Stations with length of each reaching 121 m and passenger capacity of both stations touches 11,000 passengers per hour.
