Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honoured 44 distinguished Emirati personalities in various fields such as education, health, inventions, innovation, technology, sports, arts, culture, media, social entrepreneurship, humanitarian work, as well as government and military sectors and distinguished initiatives in UAE. This came during a national event organised today at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai as part of the 44th National Day celebrations.

The ceremonies were attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a number of ministers, parents and families of the honorees and a number of UAE pioneers who have been honored last year.
