UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum today unveiled the carriage and station models of Al Sufouh Tram project in Dubai; the world's first tram system that uses modern and safe ground power cable system without the need for overhead cables. Accompanied by Dubai Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mohammed endorsed the interior design of tram carriages in addition to a number of initiatives launched by the Road and Transport Authority (RTA).
